Despite actually playing quite well in this game (see the Watford Observer report) the result must have represented one of our all time lows, especially after the highs of the Ken Furphy years. It was a record equalling ninth league loss in a row ( a sequence only achieved for the first time earlier in the season), a tenth loss in a row in all competitions, our second loss to relegation rivals Swansea in four days and it saw us fall into the Third Division relegation zone for the first time that season.
