And yet the Hornets won last night so it’s all a bit fine and dandy….

Allan Smart played against us in this game, but not the other 1999 Playoff hero we signed from Carlisle, Nick Wright. He didn’t join them until November 1997.

So why did we go such a long way to watch a football match? Quite simply addiction. I am addicted to Watford at the moment. I need my fix. If we keep playing like this, I am going to find it very hard to miss a game this season. Though we didn’t have it all our own way, and certainly this was our least impressive performance this season. But it was still a good performance, with everyone contributing in some way or another.
