23rd October 2009- Championship, Watford 4 Sheffield Wednesday 1

BBC: Watford moved to within three points of the Championship leaders with a superb win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Daily Telegraph, 24 Oct 2009

BHappy: Well I have to confess to not having seen that coming. The continuing absence of H and the Duke still on the bench didn’t particularly lift the spirits on the way into the ground either. It’s never as much fun as when you don’t expect it, is it…?

1st October 2009- RIP Terry Challis

The name Terry Challis will be familiar to a great many Watford fans.  His cartoons in the Watford Observer were often the first port of call for many after buying the paper.

Terry passed away on 1st October 2009.

BHappy image tribute: In days before blanket coverage and instant highlights, it always seemed particularly vital after a distant, unseen away game, as much a part of the reportage as Oliver Phillips’ account alongside.
