The industrial dispute that had resulted in a much smaller newspaper than usual for the last two editions was finally over. Reports of the three Watford games that had been missed during the strike were included here.

For the second week running industrial strike action meant the size of the paper was significantly reduced and once again there were no match reports of Watford games.
13th November 1973- Floodlight ban comes into effect
The 1973 oil crisis along with strike action by miners caused the government to introduce a ban on the use of floodlights, which caused Saturday games played over the winter to start earlier that usual and midweek matches to be played in the afternoon.
