31st March 1986- Division One, Arsenal 0 Watford 2

The first game of the double-header against Arsenal. This game was always scheduled to be played on Easter Monday but the fixture at Vicarage Road which should have been on Boxing Day 1985 was postponed twice and eventually rearranged for 1st April meaning the sides would face each other on consecutive days.

5th March 1986- FA Cup Fifth Round, Watford 1 Bury 1

The game was postponed from 15th February.  Bad weather meant this was the first competitive game we’d played since 6th February.  However GT did take the team down to Devon, which wasn’t affected as much by the snow and ice, to play a friendly in mid February against Exeter City which we won 4-0.
