We went into this game in second place on goal difference so to win the title we needed a better result than Bristol City. They lost 2-1 at Preston and so we were Division Two Champions.

Elton John’s Glasses was a play written by David Farr which was performed at the Palace Theatre in Watford between 30th May- 21st June 1997 and transferred to the West End when Brian Conley took over the lead role of Bill.
