On the eve of the return to competitive action following the break because of the Covid-19 pandemic the club released this video narrated by Jay DeMerit.

4th June 2020- Premier League: Five substitutes approved for rest of 2019-20 season

Premier League teams will be able to make five substitutions, rather than three, in each match to the end of the season after clubs approved new rules. Teams will also be able to name nine substitutes instead of the usual seven.

29th May 2020- NHS Staff thank Watford FC

During the Covid-19 pandemic Watford FC opened up Vicarage Road for use by the West Herts NHS Trust as described in the film below.

On May 29th staff from the Watford General Hospital gathered in the Rookery Stand to ‘clap for the club’ as a way of thanking them for the support provided during the pandemic.
