Graham Taylor and David Pleat chose to play full strength sides in Ross Jenkins testimonial despite the fact that both had a season defining game just four days later. We would need to beat Liverpool at home to be assured of UEFA Cup qualification whilst Luton needed to win at Manchester City to avoid relegation.
For some reason Ross’ testimonial was covered twice in a programme feature on testimonials during the 2018/19 season.
