BSAD imageBSAD report: This is a long way from being a crisis, still some distance from being a slip-up of any consequence. But the fact remains that we haven’t played at all well for the first sixty or seventy minutes of our last two League games and, as a result, have had to rescue draws with slightly desperate comebacks. It’s obvious that we’re good enough to beat sides like York City, yet on Saturday we failed to work out how to beat them.

BSAD imageBSAD reports: It would be easy to gush and to go on about how wonderful we were. Before I do so, I think I’ll emphasise now just how bloody awful York were – it really does make you wonder how they beat Everton and Man Utd in recent years. To their credit, they did try and play football, passing it around and moving, but that, of course, suited us better and overrall, I think 4-0 was probably a fair result.

BSAD: They had no chances, and scored one, we had four, and scored two! If we had lost this game, to this team, there would be no hope. Let’s hope the rest are this easy. We left after all the players and King Kenny had been over and saluted us to a round of ‘Watford’s going up’. At this rate we will too.
