5th July 2014- Friendly, SK Austria Klagenfurt 0 Watford 1 Leave a Reply  Watford opened their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 win at SK Austria Klagenfurt this evening. The only goal of the game came in the 26th minute when a fine pass from Sean Murray put new signing Lloyd Dyer through one-on-one and he duly beat the Klagenfurt keeper Former-Leicester-City-winger-Lloyd-Dyer-scores-first-Watford-goal-in-friendly-win-over-SK-Austria-Klagenfurt-_-Watford-ObserverDownload The Klagenfurt announcer, who was wearing a shirt with no 12 on the back (as were all the fans in replica shirts), went through a detailed description of the Klagenfurt players but did not deign to inform us of the Watford line-up, so it was the usual pre-season practice of trying to recognise these young footballers who all look the same to me.
