4th June 2020- Premier League: Five substitutes approved for rest of 2019-20 season

Premier League teams will be able to make five substitutions, rather than three, in each match to the end of the season after clubs approved new rules. Teams will also be able to name nine substitutes instead of the usual seven.

5th June 2015- Quique Sanchez Flores announced as new Watford head coach

BBC Sport: Former Atletico Madrid manager Quique Sanchez Flores has been named as Watford’s fifth boss in a year.

The Guardian: As part of the new coaching set-up, Dean Austin will remain on the staff, having returned to the club in January as part of Jokanovic’s backroom team, while Flores is to be assisted by Alberto Diaz and Antonio Carlavilla.

29th June 2012- Pozzo Family Takeover of Watford FC from Laurence Bassini

The takeover was very protracted but was reported as being on the verge of completed in the 22nd June issue of the Watford Observer. It appeared to be eventually confirmed on the 29th by the Evening Standard.

The following day the Independent reported Bassini said the deal was off
