For the rest of the football season the Watford Observer started publishing the detailed match reports that had previously always been in the Friday main edition, in Wednesday’s Midweek Observer. Disappointingly I can find no archive copies of these. Thankfully in depth match reports returned to the Friday edition from August 1970.
