22nd November 2005- Championship, Leicester City 2 Watford 2 https://watford.fcdb.info/index.php?page=matches BBC: Leicester allowed 10-man Watford to salvage a draw thanks to an 85-minute strike by Malky Mackay. The Hornets went ahead through Marlon King’s early goal, but Joey Gudjonsson levelled then put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot just before half-time. Clarke Carlisle was dismissed just after the break, and the Foxes looked to be cruising until Mackay struck. BSAD: With the time running out, the tireless Mahon received the ball from Bangura and swung in a cross from the right, Ashley Young appeared at the far post, stooped to head the ball back across goal and up popped Malky Mackay to sweep in a deserved equaliser. Cue pandemonium in the away end. Daily Telegraph, 23 Nov 2005 Share this: Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook
