Odion Ighalo poked home to give the visitors the lead, but Micah Richards’ header levelled it before half-time. Sky Sports: Alan Hutton’s own goal put Watford back ahead after the break and former Villa youth player Troy Deeney’s header gave the visitors a two-goal cushion. Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has been given the all-clear after he was taken to hospital with a neck injury suffered in the second half of the 3-2 victory at Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon. Gomes fell awkwardly after colliding with Hornets defender Craig Cathcart in the 67th minute and was given oxygen during an eight-minute stoppage before being stretched off with his neck in a brace.
